Anaphylactic shock is an immediate systemic allergic reaction to repeated administration of an allergen. Anaphylactic shock can develop when drugs and prophylactic drugs are injected into the body. With parenteral administration of the allergen, that is, bypassing the gastrointestinal tract, reactions such as anaphylactic shock are observed more often than with administration by any other route. Intravenous administration of the drug is especially dangerous.

The report drew attention to the issue of differentiation of anaphylactic shock from acute cardiovascular insufficiency, myocardial infarction, epilepsy, ectopic pregnancy and other diseases. The algorithm of assistance was analyzed in detail, as well as the question of what needs to be done to prevent the development of anaphylactic shock on medications.
