05.06.2024 assistants of the Department of Infectious diseases, dermatovenereology and immunology Abdrakhmanova G.Zh., Kozubaeva D.B., Kudaibergenova N.K., with 3rd year students (3408, 3407 of the Faculty of General Medicine) visited the Municipal State Public Enterprise «Hospice of the City of Semey» for volunteer purposes  health department of the Abay region, where patients receive palliative care.

In a hospice, inpatient care is provided 24 hours a day by medical staff, care is intended for terminally ill people to relieve pain and other severe manifestations of the disease, in order to provide them with the best possible quality of life, support for the patient and his family. Hospice medical workers show kindness and warm attitude towards patients. Department staff examined patients with allergic and skin diseases and offered to provide advisory assistance to hospice patients. The students showed responsibility and empathy for patients.
