On June 14, 2024, the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology held an «Open Day» for interns of the final course. This event was dedicated to admission to the residency program 7R01156 «Clinical laboratory diagnostics». Acting associate professor of the department, c.m.s., laboratory doctor of the highest category Kudaibergenova N.K. presented the features of the curriculum, opportunities and conditions of study in the specialty.

Training of residents in the specialty «Clinical laboratory diagnostics» has been carried out since 2023. For two years, residents have been performing laboratory general clinical, biochemical, coagulological, hematological, parasitological, immunological and cytological studies, working on laboratory measuring instruments, analyzers and equipment.

The practical part of the training takes place in the clinical and diagnostic laboratories of multidisciplinary hospitals in the Abai, East Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions under the guidance of experienced clinical mentors from practical healthcare.
