Universities use various forms of activities aimed at developing knowledge, competencies and skills for their students and staff. One of the most common forms of professional development in the traditional sense are scientific and educational schools (summer, winter). Since 17.06.2024 г. the staff of the Department of OVP Semey of the SMU, NCJSC under the leadership of the head of the department, Professor A.A. Dyusupova, teachers G.T. Kamasheva, T.M. Belyaeva, R.I. Fayzova, O.A. Yurkovskaya, A.M. Khismetova, T.I. Terekhova, conducted an online summer School on the topic “Selected issues in the work of a general practitioner practices” for residents of 2 years of study in the specialty «Family medicine». The main goal is to improve the quality of education by filling gaps in the knowledge of residents for 2 years of study before passing the state exam and starting independent activities. Within the framework of the online summer school, teachers-doctors of the highest category of various specialties (dermatovenerology, pediatrics, OVP, management, pediatric infectious disease specialist), within the framework of an interdisciplinary approach, gave lectures demonstrating clinical cases. This contributes to the formation of interdisciplinary directions in the work of a general practitioner. This summer School was interesting for both teachers and residents of the 2nd year of study.
