On November 29, 2023 sanitary and educational work was carried out for students of all courses of the foreign department in Semey Medical University. Maukaeva Saule Boranbaevna, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenereology and Immunology of SMU, NCJSC, an infectious disease doctor of the highest category, conducted an online seminar on early diagnosis, treatment, prevention and anti-epidemic safety measures for measles and chickenpox. The listeners were presented an algorithm of actions to take when signs typical for these diseases appear. In addition to the students, curators of the foreign groups were present at the seminar. At the end of the lecture, students were provided with handouts in electronic format.
