At the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology named after A.A. Kozbagarov, under the guidance of the head of the department, associate Professor G.A. Tanysheva, from May 18 to June 22, 2024, a summer school was held on Saturdays for residents of the 1st and 2nd years of study in the specialty “Obstetrics and gynecology adult, children’s” on the topic “Fetal cardiotocography”.
Fetal CTG during pregnancy and childbirth is the main method of assessing the fetal condition. Residents should be able to assess the condition of the pregnant woman and fetus. Within the framework of this school topic, the main parameters of CTG research, visual and automatic analysis, and interpretation of CTG results are highlighted. Clinical protocols for fetal condition assessment “Assessment of the functional state of the fetus” and “Insufficient fetal growth” were discussed.
Various cases were analyzed, as well as residents in the department of pathology of pregnant women and in the maternity ward, participated in the decoding of current CTG studies, determined the type of CTG and tactics for further management of pregnant women and women in labor.
