Based on the order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On approval of the Standard Rules for admission to training in educational organizations implementing educational programs of higher and postgraduate education” dated October 31, 2018 N600, Semey Medical University began admission to doctoral studies in 2024.
Forty-four applicants applied for the preliminary selection for the PhD program, of which 17 people dropped out for various reasons (refusal to enroll, non-admission, etc.).
On August 12, 2024, the first stage of the entrance exam for the doctoral program was held – writing a motivational essay, in which 27 people participated, of which 14 people in the specialty 8D10102 Medicine and 13 in the specialty 8D10101 Public Health.
By the order of the Chairman of the Board – Rector Dyusupov A. N360 dated July 30, 2024, an examination committee was created for the first stage of the exam in the following composition:
Chairman of the committee: Urankhaeva Gulmira – Doctor of Political Sciences, Head of the Department of General Education Disciplines.
Members of the committee: Alina Gulshat – Candidate of Philological Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of General Education Disciplines; Gizatullina Aigul – Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Lecturer of the Department of General Education Disciplines; Ekibaev Rustem – Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of General Education Disciplines; Kadirsizova Shynar – PhD, Acting Assistant Professor of the Department of General Education Disciplines.
Secretary of the examination committee: Rakhymzhanova Saule – Master of Philology, Senior Lecturer of the Department of General Education Disciplines.
To ensure transparency of the entrance examination procedure for the PhD program, independent observers were included during the entrance examination period: Erezhepbaeva Madina – lawyer of the legal support department, Beisembaev Maksat – compliance officer.
