In 2024, On August 23, a seminar was held at the Auezov ambulance station in the Abay region on the topic: “Flu, ARVI and Covid-19, diagnosis and treatment.” The seminar speakers noted that an increase in the incidence of pneumonia in 7 months of this year was registered by 19.2% compared to the same period last year (from 49,704 to 40,144), the course of respiratory infections has changed significantly – due to their constant mutations, combinations, and combinations thereof , previously associated bacterial infections (decreased immunity after pandemics, aggressiveness of microorganisms, biofilm formation, development of antibiotic resistance – often the use of reserve antibacterial drugs and human immunoglobulins), often the rapid development of severe septic conditions with the development of MODS. The clinical picture and symptoms of severe influenza, ARVI and Covid-19 were covered, with an emphasis on risk factors for severe and complicated course of these infections. The issues of clinical manifestations and treatment tactics of influenza, ARVI and Covid-19 in pregnant women are separately discussed.
