On September 3, 2024, as part of the celebration of Family Day, assistants of the Department of General Medical Practice of the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch, obstetricians and gynecologists M.K.Zhunusova, R.N.Ibragimova, neurologist Sh.D. Yensibayeva, therapist S.S. Akhmetova organized a round table for girls of the 6-7 course of OVP on the topic “Family planning is the key to the birth of a healthy child”

The purpose of the event: active promotion of family values, family planning, informed parenthood

Family planning is about children at will, not on occasion. The right to family planning, or to free and responsible parenthood, is an internationally recognized right of every person. In fact, family planning is an activity aimed at reducing morbidity and maintaining the health of women and children. Questions about when and how many children to have, how to avoid unwanted pregnancy, which contraceptives (contraceptives ) are better to use and how to use them, sooner or later arise in front of every person, every family. Family planning helps people to consciously choose the number of children in the family and the timing of their birth, plan their lives, and avoid unnecessary worries and worries.

At the end of the round table, future doctors got acquainted with new modern methods of contraception, recalled anomalies in the development of the neural tube and diseases of extragenital pathology.

The round table for girls was useful, the questions were answered.In the future, it is planned to create a “Women’s club”, a “Men’s club”.
