Lecture “Mpox” for students of the foreign department

On August 14, the Director-General of WHO announced that the sharp rise in the incidence of smallpox in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and other African countries constitutes a public health emergency of international importance. No cases of monkey pox have been reported in Kazakhstan. But medical students should know the main routes of transmission, clinical manifestations, differential diagnosis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Mpox. On September 6, associate professor S.B. Maukayeva held an online lecture “Mpox” for students of the foreign department. The lecture was listened to with great interest, and positive feedback was given from the students.
