From August 21 to 25, 2024, Singapore hosted the Congress of the Asia-Pacific League of Rheumatology (APLAR), one of the most significant events in the field of rheumatology, which brought together leading experts from around the world.

The NAO “Semey Medical University” was represented at this forum by the assistant of the Department of Internal Medicine Yulia Viktorovna Petrova. She made a poster presentation “Opportunities to improve the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis in real practice” by the team of authors Petrov Y.V., Ivanov R.L., Goremykin M.V., which aroused the keen interest of the participants and contributed to active discussions.

Yulia Viktorovna received a travel grant from the organization APLAR Young Rheumatologists (AYR), which allowed her to participate in the congress, where she actively participated in discussions and exchange of experience with colleagues from different countries. Participation in this prestigious event highlights the high level of training of specialists of the NAO “MUS” and strengthens the university’s position in the international medical community.
