According to the decision of the meeting of the National Scientific Council on the scientific direction “Life and Health Science” in the framework of the competition for grant funding for scientific and (or) scientific-technical projects for 2024-2026 of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the scientists of Semey Medical University became the holders of the following grants:

– “Study of the role of blood peptide metabolites derived from intestinal microbiota in metabolic syndrome in Kazakh population”, project leader: Alma Nurtazina , acting Professor of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor.

– “Optimization of the system of management of radioiodrug-resistant thyroid cancer in Kazakhstan taking into account individual clinicopathological and molecular characteristics”, project leader: Laura Pak, Head of the Department of Clinical Oncology and Nuclear Medicine, PhD, Associate Professor.
