On September 17, 2024, teachers of Semey Medical University, together with curatorial groups, visited a nursing home for the elderly and disabled on the eve of the International Day of the Elderly. The International Day of the Elderly has been celebrated on October 1 since 1991. On this day, various events are held to protect the rights of the elderly, charity events are held. This is a chance to once again say words of gratitude to veterans and pensioners. Students and teachers of the medical university traditionally visit the boarding school with concerts, gifts, and charity events. This time, taking into account the weather conditions, teachers and students brought fan heaters to the residents of the boarding house so that the rooms would become warmer and more cheerful before the start of the heating season.
