On September 1, 2024, a meeting was held at the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D.M. Tusupov with students admitted to the 1st year of residency in the specialty “Medical Rehabilitology” with the head of the department Alimbaeva A.R. and assistant of the department Dairbekov E.E. The meeting with students was held online on the zoom video platform with the participation of students of three branches of the NAO “MUS” University. These are the cities of Pavlodar, Semey and Ust-Kamenogorsk. The meeting discussed current issues related to the new academic year, as well as further plans for the first day and general prospects for the year. Personal issues, needs and circumstances of individual students were also resolved. Another important event of the meeting was the explanation to the students of the rules, regulations and instructions of the department from the teachers. This was an important event, as it gave the students sufficient incentive, mood and attitude necessary to start the new academic year as resident doctors-rehabilitation specialists. To sum up, we can say that the work done gave students a sufficient understanding of what to expect in the future, and that the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D.M. Tusupov is responsible for its activities and cares about students receiving high-quality knowledge and experience and, in the future, residents will soon join the ranks of rehabilitation doctors.
