According to the plan of Saturday events, the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial Surgery organized and conducted educational work in the Homes of students of the NAO “MUS”. This event was organized jointly with members of the Healthy Smile School and was held on September 21, 2024 in the house of students No. 3 on the topic: “Fundamentals of oral hygiene”.

Assistants of the department Ortbayeva B.E., Kalieva D.N. and members of the Healthy Smile school for 1st and 2nd year students living in the student house No. 3 held talks about the basis of oral hygiene, various methods of brushing teeth, bad habits, their harmful effects on the body as a whole and the condition the organs of the oral cavity. A mini-lecture was given at the round table on preventive measures to prevent caries, pathology of hard tissues, prevention of periodontal diseases, oral mucosa. Information was provided on the means and items of individual oral hygiene. A master class on hygiene training was held. They stressed the importance of observing preventive measures, and most importantly, a healthy lifestyle for students.

The students actively participated in the discussion and also asked questions. At the end of the event, positive feedback was received from the students. The students really liked the lecture, the master class, i.e., in general, the organized event was interesting, necessary, timely, with great benefit for students.
