On September20, 2024, teachers of the Department of SimulationandEducationalTechnologies,students of 3412,3628groups of GeneralMedicine,102Pharmacy,aswell as students of curatorialgroups,visited the regionaluniversallibrarynamed after Abai,wheretheIIIRepublicanbookfestival”KitapTime-2024″ was held.Theevent was attended by representatives of intellectualcommunities,poets,writers,culturalfigures,libraryreaders,students from otheruniversities, collegesandschools of the city.

The event was opened by the director of the libraryM.Karth,whoaddressedtheparticipants of the festivalwith a welcomingspeech,notingthat the interest of modernyouthinreading is growingeveryyear.

The library staff presented book exhibitions “Abai zholy”kitaphanasy – zhauhar tuyndylar”, “Writers and poets of Semey”, “My favorite book”, “My native land”. Within the framework of the “Living Library” program, meetings were held with famous poets, with masters of applied art, master classes on the theme “My hometown of Semey”, a display of handmade products. The participants of the studio “Abel” presented an exhibition of drawings on the theme “Autumn landscapes”. The students learned a lot of interesting and informative things, and participated in the festival with great pleasure.
