On September 27, 2024, teacher of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics Mukasheva Gulbarshyn Darynkyzy, together with students of group 2216 OM, held a career guidance meeting for students of grades 10-11 of Secondary School № 23 and School-Lyceum № 38 in Semey.

During the event, schoolchildren were introduced to the history of the university and the organization of the educational process. They were told about the features of educational programs, opportunities for participation in academic mobility, qualifications that can be obtained after graduation, and additional opportunities during the period of study. Students shared their impressions of student life, talked about the opportunities to prove themselves not only in their studies, but also in volunteer activities, as well as about participating in various scientific, sports sections and clubs.

Special attention was paid to preparatory courses in chemistry and biology at the university. At the end of the event, all schoolchildren were given information materials about the «Medical foundation» school and brochures about the university.

The meeting aroused keen interest among the pupils, and some of the students expressed a desire to enroll in our university.
