On 23.09.2024, a curatorial hour was held at the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology on the topic: “Family Day in Kazakhstan. The formation of strong family values among young people”. The curator Almagambetova A.A. made a welcoming speech to the 3rd year students (curatorial group 3513) of Semey Medical University. The main goal of Family Day in Kazakhstan is to promote moral matrimony and strengthen spirituality among students.  In her speech, she highlighted the importance of traditional family values. It is the family that is the link between different generations, it is the first step in the process of personal socialization. That is why the protection of the institution of family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood is one of the most important social tasks of any state. The students expressed their opinions on family traditions, marriage planning, informed parenthood, family leisure, etc. Students actively engaged in discussions and asked questions. At the end of the meeting, a psychotherapeutic training was conducted to understand and improve the quality of life.
