On September 20, 2024, a lecture on “Back pain in the practice of a general practitioner” was held at the department of the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch with the participation of doctor N.V. Shulzhenko. Interns of the Department of GP of 6-7 courses took part in this lecture, as well as the organizers of this lecture, Sh. D. Yensibayeva, S. S.Akhmetova, M. K. Zhunusova and moderator Ibragimova R. N.

Back pain is one of the most common pain syndromes that significantly affects the patient’s ability to work and quality of life.

It is predicted that in the future the prevalence of back pain will increase due to an increase in concomitant diseases and adverse factors such as obesity, smoking, sedentary lifestyle, as well as due to the aging of the general population. The problem of relieving back pain is relevant for doctors of various specialties.

During the lecture, future doctors got acquainted with new modern methods of treating back pain, consolidated their knowledge of neurology. Such lectures will always be relevant. Given that medicine does not stand still in development, such lectures allow you to update knowledge, practice skills and share experiences.
