Every year, about one million people die as a result of suicide, according to official WHO statistics. It can be said that more people die from suicide in the world than from wars and terrorism. Among young people aged 15-29, suicide is the second leading cause of death after deaths in road accidents.

The causes of suicides, alarming signs of possible suicide, suicidal behavior that is possible and normal, as well as the role of society in suicide prevention were discussed.

The interns expressed a common opinion – one should value one’s life; sometimes it is enough to pay attention a little more than usual to keep someone from the fatal line…
