On 30 September, a mentor hour was held with students of the 1305 group, speciality dentistry, and 1238,1239 groups, speciality paediatrics. During the mentor’s hour, technological and scientific aspects of NPP construction, energy safety, alternative energy sources and technological comparisons, economic efficiency and financial risks, social and political aspects, environmental risks and environmental impact were discussed.

Today, world experts declare that the only way to prevent an environmental catastrophe is to utilise the potential of the peaceful atom. Relying on the rich experience of civilised countries, Kazakhstan intends to build NPPs in order to achieve energy security and independence, strictly observing environmental norms.

At the present stage of technological development, energy is very important for stable and safe life of people.
