Welcoming remarks to the students of the 1st and 2nd year of Semey Medical University were made by: Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology, PhD Moldagaliev T.M., Associate professor of the Department Ospanova N.N., assistant of the Department Almagambetova A.A. In their speeches, they highlighted the situation regarding the problem of suicide in Kazakhstan, and also spoke in detail about the problems that students of our university may have during the period of adaptation, prevention of suicidal behavior, about effective ways to resolve emerging problems that can help a person in crisis, the formation of a resilient personality.

Students, residents of the 1st year of study, presented a suicide prevention program, conducted psychotherapeutic training to increase stress tolerance, confidence, self-esteem and a positive attitude to life. The 1st and 2nd year students received a huge amount of positive emotions. Life is wonderful, wonderful, multifaceted and you need to appreciate every moment of it!
