Two schools are attached to the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.K. Raissov: Secondary School No. 32, Secondary School No. 33 Semey.

On September 26, 2024, Semey Medical University held career guidance events for students in grades 10 and 11 of the city’s schools No. 32 and 33. The lecturer of the department, P.S. Rakhimgalieva, in her speech, acquainted the students with detailed information about the intensive infrastructural development of the NCJSC “Semey Medical University”, the rapid growth of its educational, scientific and innovative potential.

In addition, teacher P.S. Rakhimgalieva provided information about the preparatory department «Medical Foundation» and invited students to prepare for the UNT in the subjects “Chemistry” and “Biology”. An image video of the NCJSC “Semey Medical University” was shown, booklets with information about educational programs implemented at the NCJSC “SMU”, admission to the university and learning conditions were distributed to schoolchildren.

The students got acquainted in detail with the successful activities of the NCJSC “Semey Medical University”, received information about which specialties can be obtained through 7 educational programs. Semey Medical University has been successfully implementing a program of academic mobility of students and teachers for a long time. There is a department of military training. The purpose of military training is to train officers of the medical service of the reserve of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Two students of the 11th grade of Secondary school No. 32 announced their intention to get admission in the NCJSC “SMU”. Three students of the 11th grade of Secondary school No. 33 announced their intention to get admission in the NCJSC “SMU”. Students of schools No. 32, No. 33 showed interest and actively asked questions.

The profession of a doctor is an honorable, noble and very responsible work to protect the health of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan!
