At the first October curatorial hour was held with students of the 3120 GMF group on the construction of a nuclear power plant (NPP) in Kazakhstan. The students were informed about the upcoming referendum, during which the citizens of the country will have to express their opinion on this important energy project. During the discussion, both the advantages of building a nuclear power plant to solve energy shortages and reduce dependence on fossil resources, as well as possible risks associated with environmental and nuclear safety were considered. The students actively discussed the importance of voting for the younger generation, emphasizing the importance of participating in such referendums, as it directly affects the future of the country and their professional life.
