October 1, 2024, Associate Professor Kapanova G.K. a curatorial hour was held with students of group 4307 of the OMF on the topic: “55 key questions and answers on the construction of nuclear power plants in Kazakhstan”, During the interview, the students of the group became familiar with materials on the problems of energy supply to our state, with the main sources of energy that ensure the normal functioning of various sectors of the country’s economy. While studying this document, students became familiar with the state plan for eliminating the electricity shortage in the Republic of Kazakhstan, in which the main burden of energy supply is associated with the use of nuclear fuel, which will significantly reduce the country’s financial costs for infrastructure development. During the discussion, students received basic information on holding a popular referendum, the results of which will decide the issue of constructing a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan.
