Round table on the topic: “Cholestasis syndrome in medical practice”

In 2024, on September 27, in polyclinic No. 9 of Semey, Semey, a round table was held on the topic: “Cholestasis syndrome in the practice of a doctor.” Doctors and nursing staff of the institution took part in the round table. Speakers reminded roundtable participants that cholestasis is a condition that prevents the formation of bile (hepatocellular cholestasis) or the flow of bile from the liver into the duodenum (obstructive cholestasis), can be caused by several liver diseases and can be acute or chronic (> 6 months).
The diagnosis of cholestasis syndrome in a doctor’s practice, therapy and prevention of liver diseases occurring with this syndrome were covered in detail.
