«Communicative competence of higher school staff»

It’s no secret that professional activity is always fraught with difficult situations containing numerous and often implicit obstacles. It is in them, when a person demonstrates different types of reactions, that communicative competence manifests itself most clearly. It acts as a marker of the general communicative culture of the individual.

The understanding by the management of NAO «MUS» of the importance of the problem of professional communications was the basis for the organization of the master class «Communicative competence of managers and employees of higher education», which took place on October 3-4, 2024.

The organizer is the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies.

The moderator is associate professor of the Department of OOD Gizatullina A.G.

The master class brought together more than 70 students of NAO «MUS», including representatives of the Pavlodar branch.

The purpose of the event was to develop the components of communicative competence that ensure effective communication and interaction between managers and employees of NAO «MUS» in the system of interpersonal and business communication, and in general, the overall improvement of communicative culture.

In addition to the theoretical part, the master class included elements of training work. The presenters were offered a number of exercises aimed at developing such professionally important qualities as the ability to empathy, reflection, identification, conflict-free interaction, sociability, tolerance.

In general, the master class allowed the participants to develop three main competencies: the ability to build relationships and establish contacts; the ability to listen and hear; the ability to convince, the ability to argue and counter-argue, as well as to unleash the communicative potential of employees.
