This week, students of groups 1306 specializing in dentistry and 1133 specializing medicine , under the guidance of curator A.B. Bukatayeva, visited the M. Mametov Museum at Medical University Semey. The purpose of the excursion was to foster students’ civic and patriotic feelings and to cultivate loyalty to their homeland.

During the museum exhibition, students became acquainted with the personal belongings of heroes, artifacts, and documents that prove the heroism of their fellow citizens who participated in the war. There was also a discussion about the significant contribution of Semey residents to the Great Victory, and soil samples from the battlefields aroused great interest. The original documents presented in the exhibition astonished the students.

The students learned a lot of interesting information about Medical University Semey, including its history, contribution to the development of medicine, and significant achievements of its graduates. This excursion was a very impressive and beneficial event for the students
