On 31.10.2024, as part of the Silver University project, Assistant of the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology Almagambetova A.A. held an event at the Center for Special Social Services and Active Longevity No. 3 of Semey City. Students of the curatorial group No. 3513, as well as students of the 5213 group, took an active part in the meeting, organized a concert program, showing responsiveness and attention to the elderly. They also gave warmth, joy, happiness and care, expressed their sincere gratitude, showing their importance and necessity in this world. In addition, they sang soulful songs, danced, held a physical workout, a musical quiz, and gave prizes. The concert was filled with warm songs, dances and pleasant memories.

Assistant of the department Almagambetova A.A. conducted a psychological and psychotherapeutic training to increase stress resistance. The elderly people smiled, laughed, danced with the students, thanked them for hosting the concert and meeting.

Students have gained life experience of reverent attitude towards elders, as representatives of the adult generation give experience and a base for moving forward. Respect for elders fosters a proper attitude to life.

“Treat others the way you want to be treated” is the golden rule of morality. Therefore, it is always necessary to listen to the elderly and respect them. They have come a long way in life and have done a lot for the development of the world. Respect for the older generation is an integral part of our lives. This event was held as part of volunteer work.
