On December 20, 2024, in honor of the memory of Doctor of Sciences, Professor Yuri Vasilyevich Pruglo, the Republican Student Scientific-Practical Conference “Morphological Sciences and Medicine: traditions, innovations and development” was held. The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Management Board, Rector A.A. Dyusupov, Vice-Rector for Science and Strategic Development D. M. Shabdarbayeva, Head of the Department of Pathological Anatomy and Forensic Medicine named after Professor Yu.V. Pruglo Apbasova S. A. The conference, organized in four sections, was held in a hybrid format. At the end of the work of the sections, the results were summed up. The participants of the conference, students of the student’s scientific society “Molecular Genetics Researchers” of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan T. K. Raissov, won prizes:

1-st place – Nurasyl Asabaev, Asker Akku, 2nd year of the EP “Medicine”;

2-nd place – Cherubayeva Aniya, Kadyrbekova Dilnara, 2nd year of the EP “Medicine”.

The students received certificates, and the winners were awarded cash prizes.
