On December 16, Kazakhstan celebrates its main state holiday – Independence Day. It was on this day in 1991 that the country officially declared its independence, opening a new era in its history. Over 33 years of independence, Kazakhstan has achieved significant success in transitioning to a market economy, attracting foreign investments, and has become a leader in Central Asia in terms of economic growth.
In honor of this event, on December 13, 2024, the students of group 4311 from the Faculty of “General Medicine” held a class hour under the guidance of their curator, Gulbarshin Myrzakhmetovna. The main goal of the event was to familiarize students with the importance of independence and discuss key moments that influenced the formation of modern Kazakhstan.
During the event, there was a discussion on the meaning of independence in the modern context, as well as a debate on Kazakhstan’s place in the international arena. Additionally, a knowledge competition was organized, in which students answered questions related to the topic of the class hour.
The class hour concluded with a discussion on the importance of independence for the country and the role of each citizen in its preservation, reinforcing the understanding of the value of independence and its impact on the future of the state.
