On February 10-15, Altai State Medical University hosted the scientific and practical forum “ASMU Science Week-2025” with international participation. On February 13, students of Semey Medical University took part in the “Infectious Diseases” section. Presentations on “Student awareness of the human papillomavirus (HPV)” and “What medical students know about HIV infection” were made by Zhanibekova Ainur, a 4th-year student specializing in Pediatrics, and Kalkaman Aizhan, a 5th-year student specializing in General Medicine, research supervisor Associate Professor S.B. Maukayeva. and Rashkanova D., resident dermatovenerologist of the 2nd year with a report on “Differential diagnosis of exanthemums” under the guidance of associate professors Akhmetova A.K. and Maukaeva S.B. Our students took 1st place for the report “Student awareness of human papillomavirus (HPV)” and 3rd place for the report “Differential diagnosis of exanthemums”. Participation in the international forum allowed students not only to present the results of their scientific research, but also to exchange experiences with young scientists from different countries, receive valuable recommendations from leading experts and expand scientific horizons.
