14 March– A day of greetings

On March 13, 2025, on the eve of the Nauryz holiday, the head of the department, I.M. Efendiyev, and the assistants of the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases of the NCJSC “SMU” held an event at the House of Friendship dedicated to this important and ancient holiday, which symbolizes the renewal of nature and the advent of the new year. During the event, the staff of the department, A.K. Kumarbekova, E.S. Smailov, and T.D. Dalekanova, provided information about the decade of Nauryznama.

Nauryznama is a new expanded format for celebrating Nauryz, which has historically been celebrated in Kazakh culture for 10 days. The decade of Nauryznama in Kazakhstan begins on March 14, 2024, at the initiative of the President. Each day of the decade is dedicated to a different aspect of society: March 14 – “Korisu – Amal merekesi” – Day of greetings and good wishes.

Nauryz – Korisu kuni remains relevant not only as a holiday, but also as a cultural and social phenomenon that helps preserve traditions, strengthen social ties and maintain harmony in a world that often suffers from disagreements and stress.
