On April 29, 2025, another session within the framework of the «From equal to equal» project was held at the Department of Public Health of «Semey Medical University» NCJSC for profile master’s students in the specialty «Public Health» (course: «Expertise of the Quality of Medical Services»). The session was conducted by A.A. Mukusheva, a first-year doctoral student in the specialty «Public Health», under the supervision of Professor, Head of the Department Z.A. Khismetova.

The topic of the session was: «Independent Expert. Rules for Engaging Independent Experts in the Assessment of Medical Service Quality». The students actively discussed the role of independent expertise in quality control, analyzed current regulatory documents, performed practical tasks, and reviewed real-life case studies.

This format fosters the development of analytical thinking, a critical approach to quality assessment in healthcare, and strengthens professional connections among future specialists in the healthcare system.
