Which was attended by the head of the Department of Radiology of the NAO “Semey Medical University” Madieva M.R., doctoral students of the 1st year of study in the specialty “Medicine” Bersimbekova G.B., Kanapiyanova G.B. and residents of the 1st year of study in the specialty “Radiology” Yerzhanova Sh.E., Junisbek S.B. and Burumbaev A.K.

This event is a plan for the implementation of the Silver University project, which has long been initiated by the NAO ” Semey Medical University “.

The topic of the round table is relevant for all adults and the elderly, as the prevalence of osteoarthritis increases every year in the world and in Kazakhstan, which leads to a significant decrease in the quality of life. Therefore, the purpose of this event is to raise awareness in order to prevent the development of osteoarthritis and can help people overcome the consequences of this disease.

During the conversation, the center’s participants asked their questions about all aspects of the course of this disease, including nutrition, and the resident radiologists showed a set of exercises for daily use.

All participants agreed that maintaining an active lifestyle and a healthy weight can help reduce the severity of symptoms and the risk of their progression.

As a result of the conversation, positive feedback was received, and in conclusion, everyone actively participated in physical exercises.
