In the modern world, there is a global trend of population aging. In this context, medical activities aimed at maintaining health and promoting active longevity among the elderly are becoming increasingly relevant. As part of its service to society, the Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company “Semey Medical University” conducts outreach focused on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, aligned with current trends in science and medical practice, and based on the needs of the population. The university has been a participant in the public project “Silver University” for the past five years, providing education for elderly and senior citizens on maintaining physical, mental, and social health and well-being, particularly in the context of high risks of social isolation following retirement and its associated challenges.
