On September 16, 2025, the Akim of Abai Region, Berik Ualiuly, held a meeting with students who were awarded Akim’s educational grants allocated to the higher educational institutions of the city of Semey. Among the invited participants were also students of  “Semey Medical University”, who expressed their gratitude for the support and attention given.

During the meeting, the regional Akim highlighted the importance of education and emphasized that supporting young and ambitious students is one of the priorities of the region’s development policy. He wished the students success in their studies, determination in achieving their goals, and loyalty to their chosen profession, particularly noting the crucial role of future healthcare professionals in the region.

Representing the Semey Medical University, the grant recipients spoke on behalf of all students, stating that receiving such a grant is not only a great honor but also a tremendous responsibility. They thanked the regional leadership for their trust and promised to meet expectations by becoming qualified and dedicated professionals.

The warm and meaningful meeting inspired the students, boosted their confidence, and reinforced the importance of serving the homeland through professionalism and education.
