On October 25, Kazakhstan celebrates the Republic Day, a national holiday symbolizing the country’s path toward independence.
On this day in 1990, the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR was adopted, marking the first decisive step toward the establishment of an independent Kazakhstan.
From October 20 to November 1, 2025, the University Library will host a literary exhibition titled “Menin Otanym – Kazakhstan” (“My Homeland – Kazakhstan”).
The exhibition features publications that highlight the significant political, economic, cultural, and artistic transformations that have taken place in Kazakhstan since the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty.
