On April 25, 2026, a teleconference with the participation of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was held on Republic Square in the Karagaily microdistrict as part of the implementation of the Republican Environmental Program “Taza Kazakhstan”. This significant social and environmental event was also attended by students of group 401 of the specialty “Public Health” together with the curator of the group, M.B. Beisengazina. Participation in the teleconference allowed students to become part of a large-scale initiative aimed at consolidating society’s efforts in environmental protection and sustainable development.
In addition, students actively participated in the Republican environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan”, which included tree planting and landscaping in the Karagaily microdistrict. These events were aimed at improving the ecological state of the urban environment, improving air quality and creating favorable living conditions for the population.
This event is of particular importance in the context of the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. Tree planting and landscaping contribute to the restoration of natural ecosystems, improving air quality and creating a favorable environment for the population.
Future specialists in the field of public health have demonstrated in practice the importance of a preventive approach to maintaining health through improving environmental conditions. Participation in such initiatives contributes to the development of environmental culture, social responsibility and professional competencies of students.
The campaign “Taza Kazakhstan” has become a vivid example of how the joint efforts of young people can make a real contribution to the sustainable development and preservation of the country’s natural wealth.
