On May 20, 2026, a meeting of the Clinical Committee was held, during which current healthcare issues in the Abai region were discussed. In particular, a report was presented on the topic:

“Severe Bronchial Asthma. New Horizons in Therapy”

Speaker: Zh.M. Urazalina — Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Emergency Medicine named after Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Z. Dyusupov.

Organizers: Clinical Department of NCJSC “Semey Medical University”, Department of Nursing of NCJSC “Semey Medical University”.

The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector for Clinical Affairs and Postgraduate Education — Duman Berikuly, chief physicians, and district hospitals of the Abai region joined via ZOOM.

During the presentation, modern data on the diagnosis and treatment of severe bronchial asthma were presented, актуальные clinical guidelines were reviewed, as well as new opportunities for personalized therapy of the disease. Special attention was paid to the use of modern medications that increase treatment effectiveness, reduce the frequency of exacerbations, and improve patients’ quality of life.

The report generated great interest among the participants of the meeting, since severe bronchial asthma remains one of the most pressing issues in practical healthcare. Issues of early diagnosis, timely initiation of therapy, and interdisciplinary interaction among specialists were discussed.

During the meeting, participants exchanged professional experience, discussed current trends in the development of clinical practice, and issues related to improving medical care for the population. Holding such events contributes to strengthening cooperation between medical organizations, implementing modern diagnostic and treatment methods, and improving the professional level of healthcare workers.
