Today, scientific and educational events and master classes dedicated to modern technologies in medical education and healthcare were held at Avicenna Tajik State Medical University as part of the Days of Kazakhstani Medicine in the Republic of Tajikistan.
Our university presented innovative developments and start-up projects in the fields of digital healthcare and artificial intelligence. The exhibition featured projects aimed at the digitalization of medical services in oncology, as well as the UmitAI, KozAInek, YqpalAI and JYREK-AI solutions.
Saule Rakhyzhanova, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, and Head of the Department of Physiological Disciplines named after T. A. Nazarova, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, represented NCJSC «Semey Medical University» in presenting its artificial intelligence projects in Tajikistan.
The presentation also involved university students and trainees: Bakytbek Akylbekov, a second-year resident in adult oncology; Adeliya Akimova, a second-year dentistry student; and Sernad Kaliyev, a fourth-year Medicine student.
Special attention was given to simulation technologies in the training of modern physicians. As part of the programme, a master class entitled “Simulation Technologies in Training the Physician of the 21st Century” was conducted by Zhanar Smagulova, Head of academic affairs and lecturer at the Department of simulation and educational technologies. During the master class, participants were introduced to the capabilities of simulation-based education and modern approaches to the practical training of medical professionals.
The participation of Semey Medical University in the Days of Kazakhstani Medicine provided an important platform for showcasing the university’s scientific and innovative potential, exchanging professional experience, and strengthening academic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
