Speaking club for international students – as a tool for developing relationships with patients

The “Speaking Club for International students“ for undergraduate students of the foreign department continues to operate successfully in the NAO “MUS“. The club‘s goal is to develop communication skills in Russian at both a domestic and professional level. On February 19, 2025, the teachers of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases Rakymgazieva A.S. and Amangalieva G.M. another lesson of the club on the topic: “The scheme of the medical history.“ A thematic dictionary has been created to prepare students, including basic terms related to patient examination, clinical skills, and disease prevention. Special attention was paid not only to vocabulary expansion, but also to correct pronunciation. The students studied new terms, discussed the principles of forming the right approach to the patient. The lesson was productive and aroused great interest among the students. To consolidate the material they had learned, they actively asked questions, shared their experiences and thanked the organizer for the useful knowledge and positive atmosphere. We thank the students for their interest and look forward to seeing you again at our events!
