On April 11, 2025, the Olympiad–competition of professional skills “Step Forward“ was held, organized by the Kazakh National Medical University named after S. D. Asfendiyarov. Students of dental faculties of various universities took part in the Olympiad. The NAO “Semey Medical University“ was presented by 2nd year students: Dmitry Kopeikin, Alexey Beketov, Merey Manakov and Karina Chernova, a 3rd year student After a difficult creative struggle, our students showed excellent theoretical and practical training, receiving high appreciation and admiration from a solid and serious jury of renowned professors of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov. According to the results of the competition: Dmitry Kopeikin – 1st place, Alexey Beketov – 2nd place. Our students demonstrated high professional skills and showed excellent results. The dean of the S.D. Asfendiyarov KazNMU School of Dentistry sent letters of thanks to the faculty and management of the department.
