The Academic Committee (AC) is the supreme governing body for the educational and methodological activities of the Semey Medical University. The activities of the AC are managed by the vice-rector for academic work, who is also the chairman of this council.
The AC consists of the heads of the department, chairmen of the committees of educational programs, deans of schools, heads of structural divisions.
The Committee of Educational Programs (hereinafter referred to as CEP) is a collegiate body of the Semey Medical University, which coordinates educational and methodological work by ensuring a competency-based approach in the preparation of graduates in the framework of educational programs in the relevant specialty or field of study. Control over the work of the CEP is carried out by AC.
The composition of the CEP includes heads of departments, professors, associate professors, leading teachers of departments that provide the educational process in the relevant specialty /field of training/, advisers in the specialty /field of training/, leading specialists in practical healthcare, employers, representatives of the contingent of students.
