Student Self-Government of Semey Medical University is a permanent representative body of the university, whose activities are aimed at ensuring the realization of the rights of students to participate in managing the educational process, solving important issues of students’ life, developing its social activity, supporting and implementing social initiatives.
Goals and objectives of the SSG:
- ensuring the realization of the rights of students to participate in university management, assessing the quality of the educational process;
- development and support of socially significant university student initiatives;
- preservation and development of student traditions, the formation of civic culture, an active civic stance of students, the promotion of their social maturity, independence, ability to self-organization and self-development;
- assistance in organizing the activities of university youth organizations;
- development of common cultural competencies among students.
