The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics was established in 2019.
The goal of the department is to develop students’ competencies in evidence-based medicine, clinical epidemiology, and statistical analysis for planning and conducting scientific research, as well as for preparing scientific publications.
The main areas of the department’s work are evidence-based medicine, biostatistics, management, and research methodology.
The staff of the department regularly participate in seminars to improve their teaching qualifications and engage in research activities both independently and together with students.
