«Science & Healthcare» Journal was established in 1999. Publisher: NСJSC «Semey Medical University» the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Journal publishes original articles, literature reviews, clinical case, short communications and conference reports covering all areas of clinical medicine and public health. The primary audience of the journal includes biomedical scientific community, practicing physicians, Doctoral and Master students in the fields of medicine and public health.
The journal is included in the list of scientific publications recommended by Committee for Control of Education and Science of Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for publishing basic results of scientific activity (Order from 05.07.2013 №1033)

The journal publishes articles in full-text form in three languages (Kazakh, Russian and English). The editors accept manuscripts in any of these languages. In its work the journal adheres to international standards of work (ICMJE) and strict ethical principles (COPE) and practices double-blind peer-review in the selection of articles.
According to the reported data of the Russian Science Citation Index dated 09.07.2020, among 49 Kazakhstani medical journals included in this database, the «Science & Healthcare» scientific and practical medical peer-reviewed journal again takes the leading position – 1st place, with an Impact factor of 0.277.
Of the 748 publications of our journal posted in the e-Library we were quoted 911 times.
In the overall rating of the Science Index of the RSCI on the subject of “Medicine and Health Care”, the journal’s indicator increased from 0.105 to 0.545 and took 142nd place. An increase in the five-year impact factor of the journal was noted from 0.244 in 2018 to 0.277 in 2019.
The Herfindahl index for citing journals fell to 801.
