On November 1, 2019, SCORP KazMSA held an event on the theme “International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Refugees,” where foreign students took an active part. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness on the theme of poverty eradication, refugees, their history, principles and importance. The host of this event was the student of the 4th year 4105 group Ansar Nuraldinov, and the organizer of this event was the student of the 2nd year 203 group of the specialty of “Dentistry” Aiya Izguttinova. They actively spoke about the relevance of this topic, about the principles of poverty eradication, showed statistics of refugees around the world. As well as Vice Director of Capacity Building (VDCB) student of the 3rd year of the specialty Pharmacy 302 group Anel Erlankyzy held a training that helped to activate all participants of this event. In order to consolidate the material, participants were asked various questions, they were very actively involved in the discussion. All participants handled their questions perfectly. At the end of the event, the organizers conducted a survey on the event. All the participants gave positive feedback.
