NCJSC “Semey Medical University” has been cooperating with the leading universities of Japan in the field of education, science and clinical activity for many years. Today, the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Semey Medical University and Hiroshima University in a solemn ceremony.
Within the frameworks of implementation of “Densaulyk” Healthcare Development Government Program for the years 2016 – 2019, decrees of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan on development of international cooperation, Semey Medical University has been successfully conducting scientific-research projects jointly with foreign institutions. Students are annually awarded with scholarships. Faculty and students academic exchange has been implemented.
Long-continued study of radiation influence has strengthened friendly relationships between the universities. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the President of Hiroshima University Dr. Prof. Mitsuo Ochi for the warm welcome and complete support of our cooperation in all spheres. Being the orthopedist – traumatologist, President of Hiroshima University has endorsed the idea of cooperation with SMU Department of Traumatology for the purpose of innovation development of bilateral relations. At the close of the meeting, the both parties gave an assurance that cooperation between the countries and scientists is the major priority.
