On December 30, the Standing Committee on Human Rights (SCORP) KazMSA held an event to mark the International Day for the Victims of the Crime of Genocide and the Prevention of this Crime. The purpose of this event was to draw attention to this problem and find ways to prevent it. The organizers were 4 course students Kadylbek Zhibek and Amangeldy Nazerke. During the event, members of the local committee of the Semey Medical University watched an American drama film based on the events of the Armenian Genocide and the last years of the Ottoman Empire, directed by Terry George, “Promise.” In the end, everyone could give feedback.
